“Housing Empowerment” volunteers participate in implementing development projects in the Badr region

Volunteers from the Housing Bank’s social responsibility program, “Emkan Housing,” participated in implementing a range of field activities in the Badr area, as part of the strategic partnership signed with the Arab Society for the Protection of Nature for the year 2026.

The volunteers’ participation included field work on implementing the “Productive Livelihoods” project by establishing model egg-laying chicken coops for the beneficiary families and providing their needs in terms of feed and technical supervision, in addition to their participation in planting a number of fruit trees for the benefit of the beneficiaries in the region.

This initiative aims to empower families economically and achieve domestic self-sufficiency, thereby ensuring sustainable livelihoods and increasing green spaces in less fortunate areas.

These field activities embody the mission of the “Housing Empowerment” program to directly involve bank employees in creating a tangible positive impact, and to transform institutional partnerships in the field of social responsibility into a reality that serves society and the environment.

It is worth mentioning that the Housing Bank has renewed its diamond sponsorship of the Arab Society for the Protection of Nature for the year 2026, as it continues to support the “Green Caravan” program for the sixth year in a row, in addition to supporting a package of development projects that include the installation of solar-powered irrigation systems, the distribution of beehives for honey production, the establishment of egg-laying chicken pens, and the planting of fruit trees in various governorates of the Kingdom.
