Drowning claims the lives of children in Jordan... A child dies and his sister is injured in Karak

The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that a report was received by the Karak Civil Defense operations room stating that a child and a girl, aged (9 and 25), had drowned inside one of the pools formed by rainwater in the Qatrana area of ​​Karak Governorate.

The specialized teams immediately moved to the site and they were removed. It was found that the child had died and his sister was injured. The ambulance crews provided the necessary first aid to the injured woman and transported her and evacuated the deceased to Karak Government Hospital. The injured woman is under treatment.

The Public Security Directorate urges citizens to stay away from water pools and ponds formed by rainwater and running water channels, to monitor children, and not allow them to approach them so that such accidents do not happen again, God forbid.
