The first phase of the rehabilitation of the Tafila Sports Complex has been completed at a cost of 350 dinars.

The Director of Engineering Affairs at the Ministry of Youth, Eng. Diaa Al-Majali, said that the Ministry has completed the first phase of the rehabilitation of the Tafila Sports Complex at a cost of 350 dinars, which was allocated from the Governorate Council’s budget for youth and sports sector projects.
The first phase works included replanting natural grass with maintenance and upkeep works for one year from the date of initial receipt according to the terms of the tender.
Al-Majali indicated that the Minister of Youth, Dr. Raed Sami Al-Adwan, had directed that work on the second phase of the maintenance plan for the year 2026 be expedited, which will include the rehabilitation of the complex’s facilities, including the players’ changing rooms, sanitary facilities, and external works for the complex.
The project comes as part of the Ministry of Youth's plan to upgrade the infrastructure of youth and sports facilities and provide suitable space for implementing youth and sports activities and events.
Within the framework of joint coordination with the Jordanian Football Association and to ensure the sustainability of the pitches belonging to the Ministry of Youth, Al-Majali stated that the Ministry has circulated a directive on the necessity of coordinating with the Jordanian Football Association to hold any match or training on the pitch, in order to ensure joint coordination in the occupancy rates of the pitches and to maintain and sustain them.
