The amended instructions for the technical inspection of vehicles for the year 2026 were issued in today’s issue of the Official Gazette, and they shall be effective from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
The instructions are as follows:
Amended instructions for vehicle technical inspection for the year 2026
Article 1: These instructions shall be called (Amended Instructions for Technical Inspection of Vehicles for the year 2026) and shall be read together with the instructions for the year 2009 referred to hereafter as the original instructions, as one set of instructions and shall be effective from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 2: Article (3) of the original instructions is amended as follows:
First: By adding the phrase “(and shared transport)” after the phrase “(passenger cars)” wherever it appears in paragraph (a) thereof.
Second: By canceling the phrase (three years) contained in item (1) of paragraph (a) thereof and replacing it with the phrase (five years).
Third: By canceling the phrase “(which has not been made for more than ten years)” which appears at the beginning of item (2) of paragraph (a) thereof.
Fourth: By canceling item (3) contained in paragraph (a) thereof, and renumbering item (4) contained in the same paragraph to become item (3).
Fifth: By canceling the phrase “(and shared transport)” contained in item (1) of paragraph (b) thereof.
Sixth: By canceling the text of paragraph (c) contained therein and replacing it with the following text:
(c) Agricultural vehicles and construction vehicles shall be inspected periodically every five years.
