“Intaj” holds a workshop on ‘Marketing Growth with Artificial Intelligence Technologies’ with 200 participants

The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) held a specialized (remote) workshop entitled 'Marketing Growth with Artificial Intelligence Technologies' with the participation of more than 200 interested young men and women, in cooperation with the Education for Employment Foundation of Jordan within the UP-LOAD South project (Enhancing Participation and Utilizing Opportunities for Digital Advancement in Southern Jordan) funded by the European Union and aimed at enhancing digital skills in southern Jordan.

In light of increasing competition in digital markets, this workshop was part of the "Intaj" Association's efforts to enhance the readiness of emerging digital companies and their employees, enabling them to keep pace with rapid transformations. The training content established "growth marketing" as a data-driven and sustainable methodology. It emphasized that "growth marketing" goes beyond simply attracting customers, as in traditional marketing, and follows a "customer acquisition pathway," starting with recruitment, then retention, and finally, fostering loyalty. The session also addressed how to leverage digital marketing campaigns and utilize artificial intelligence to efficiently analyze data, predict customer behavior, and improve customer experience, ultimately leading to reduced costs and increased return on investment.

Ziad Al-Masri, Executive Director of Programs and Projects at the Intaj Association, confirmed that Intaj continues to organize these specialized training programs that aim to build the capabilities of companies and individuals, and enhance the competitiveness of the information and communications technology sector in Jordan by providing it with the latest global tools and knowledge.

Al-Masri emphasized the pivotal role of the “Intaj” Association within the UP-LOAD South project, in designing and organizing specialized workshops and training programs and linking young men and women to the network of companies that are members of the association, which contributes to transferring applied knowledge and creating economic opportunities, thus enhancing the scope of benefit from the project’s outputs at the sector level.
It is worth noting that the UP-LOAD South project is an EU-funded initiative.

The European Union seeks to bridge the skills gap and promote sustainable employment in the southern governorates (Karak, Tafila, Ma'an and Aqaba) by training young men and women in digital, technical and life skills, with a focus on disadvantaged groups such as people with disabilities and refugees.

The project is being implemented by the Education for Employment Foundation of Jordan and the “Intaj” Association, with support from the European Union and in partnership with Education for Employment Europe.

In its twentieth year, Education for Employment Foundation Jordan (EFE Jordan) continues to contribute to Jordan’s economic growth by providing income-generating opportunities in multiple sectors.

The organization has trained more than 47,000 young men and women from Jordan and refugees in various governorates of the Kingdom, 80% of whom were women, while 80% of the graduates were linked to economic opportunities through the implementation of training programs and initiatives based on labor market needs.
